This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS was purchased new at Valley Motors in Indio, California by the original owner’s father for her to use while attending UCLA, and subsequently in grad school in Tennessee from 1973-1977. The car then returned to California, was repainted in the original Emerald Turquoise in the early 1980s, and was stored for many years prior to the second owner’s 2016 purchase.  The seller purchased it on BaT in 2017. Power is provided by a 327ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission, and the car is equipped with the RS package, a parchment vinyl interior with the Deluxe Interior Package, and power steering. This Camaro is offered at no reserve as part of the Malamut Museum Collection with a handwritten mileage and maintenance log from the original owner, a note from the original owner, factory literature, the window sticker, and a clean California title.

The car was reportedly repainted in the original Emerald Turquoise (K) in the 1980s, and the finish shows crazing and fading. Corrosion is noted at the lower right corner of the rear window, and new grille trim adjacent to the hideaway headlights has been installed by the seller. Optional items include door edge guards, front bumper overriders, and tinted glass. A UCLA sticker is present in the rear window, and UCLA parking stickers remain present on the rear bumper.

The car is fitted with steel wheels, factory wheel covers, and a set of Hankook H723 thin whitewall tires. A spare wheel with a bias ply tire is shown in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums.

The car features the Deluxe Interior Package with parchment vinyl upholstery (797G), black stripes, and black floor coverings. Options include power steering, four-season air conditioning, and a pushbutton AM radio. The electric clock is not working. A statement from the original owner notes a set of child seat anchors have been added to the rear parcel shelf, a set of slim door lock pulls have been installed, and a kill switch has been fitted at the lower right of the glovebox.

A factory three-spoke steering wheel is equipped with an RS center cap and a black vinyl rim wrap. Instrumentation features convex lenses and consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a Hawk temperature gauge mounted in an under-dash housing. Just over 25k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, and the included statement from the original owner indicates that it has rolled over. The air conditioning system was serviced in preparation for sale, and thermometer readings taken at the vents are provided in the gallery.

Power is provided by an MF-code 327ci V8 that was factory rated at 210 horsepower and is equipped with an air injection pump. The car has received fresh fluids under current ownership.
