This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe was sold new by Beyerl Chevrolet in Monroeville, Pennsylvania and was recently acquired by the selling dealer, reportedly from its original owner. It is finished in Placer Gold with a black vinyl roof over a black interior and is powered by a 350ci Turbo-Fire V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle. Equipment includes a four-barrel carburetor, power-assisted steering, Malibu 350 fender badging, body-color 14” steel wheels, front bucket seats, and a Delco AM radio. This Chevelle Malibu is now offered with a window sticker, a factory build sheet and other literature, a Protect-o-Plate, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

Body-color 14” steel wheels wear polished Chevrolet-branded hubcaps and are mounted with Firestone Wide Oval tires that are said to have been recently installed. The car came optioned with power-assisted steering.

The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench that are trimmed in black vinyl along with matching door panels and carpeting. Lap belts are fitted for all occupants, and amenities include a locking center console, a heater, a cigarette lighter, and a Delco push-button AM radio that is noted to work intermittently.

A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer with an inset fuel level gauge and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles.

The 350ci Turbo-Fire L48 V8 is fitted with a four-barrel carburetor. The battery was replaced and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
