This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was acquired by the current owner in November 2010 and underwent a refurbishment from 2019 to 2022 that included refinishing the body in metallic orange, reupholstering the interior, and installing a 496ci V8, a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission, and a Ford 9″ rear end with a Positraction differential. The engine is fitted with Brodix Big Brodie aluminum cylinder heads, a Holley 1,050-cfm carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Additional modifications include staggered-width 15″ Rally-steel wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, a lowered suspension, tubular front control arms, CalTracs traction bars, a cowl-induction hood, a B&M shifter, a tilt steering column, TMI Products bolstered seating, an AutoMeter tachometer and auxiliary gauges, and a Pioneer CD stereo. This Camaro is offered on behalf of the current owner with a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The body has been refinished in metallic orange with a black nose stripe and side stripes that terminate on the doors. Exterior details include a cowl-induction hood, dual side mirrors, front vent windows, a rear spoiler, a chrome rear bumper, and dual exhaust outlets. The front bumper and windshield wiper motor have been removed, and the windshield, rear glass, and exterior seals and weatherstripping have been replaced. A paint chip is noted on the front edge of the passenger-side door and is depicted in the gallery below.
The black-finished 15″ Rally-style wheels wear bright trim rings and hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Classic Radial front and 255/60 Mickey Thompson rear tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with Wilwood rear components, and the suspension has been lowered and features tubular front control arms and CalTracs traction bars. The springs, dampers, and ball joints are also said to have been replaced, and the car is no longer equipped with a parking brake.
The refurbished interior features TMI Products seating trimmed in black and orange upholstery, body-color metal surfaces, and a replacement dash pad, headliner, carpets, door panels, and sun visors. Appointments include a heater and defroster, a B&M shifter, Simpson latch-and-link front lap belts, a Pioneer CD stereo and amplifier, and aftermarket speakers.
A three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilt steering column, and it frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. An AutoMeter tachometer and additional auxiliary gauges are mounted in front of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles and true mileage is unknown.
The 496ci V8 was installed under current ownership and has been fitted with Brodix Big Brodie aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock AIR-Gap intake manifold, MSD electronic ignition, a Holley Quick Fuel 1,050-cfm carburetor, an Edelbrock 160-gph fuel pump, tubular headers, a 3″ dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, polished Chevrolet-branded valve covers, and a chromed alternator and power steering pump.
