This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 was acquired by the seller in California in 1988 and placed in long-term storage until recently when it was fitted with a Lunati camshaft, a Weiand intake manifold, an Edelbrock 750-cfm carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, a four-core aluminum radiator with electric fans, front coilovers, tubular front control arms, and Brodix aluminum cylinder heads. This white-over-red example is powered by a 396ci V8 paired with a TCI Streetfighter TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a center console, bucket seats, power steering, power front disc brakes, 17″ American Racing wheels, Hedman headers, and a dual exhaust system. This Chevelle is offered with service records, spare parts, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

The body was finished in Ermine White from the factory and is said to have been repainted in 1990. Features include a blacked-out grille, a hood with faux twin scoops, 396 badging on the front fenders, SS396 emblems on the grille and rear cove, Super Sport script on the rear quarter panels, quad headlamps, and a dual-outlet exhaust that exits below the rear bumper. A headlight is not working, and there is rust on the rear bumper, trunk floor, and around the rear window. Paint blemishes are shown in the gallery.

The 17″ American Racing wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires measuring 225/50 up front and 245/45 out back. The car is fitted with power steering, front coilovers, and tubular front control arms. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered red vinyl joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The climate control system is disconnected and air conditioning components are missing.

The three-spoke SS steering wheel frames a sweeping 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. A tachometer and auxiliary gauges are mounted to the dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 60k miles, approximately 200 of which were added during current ownership.
