1978 Chevy Camaro
1978 CHEVY CAMARO REVISED
For the 1978 model year, Chevy executed the third major mid-cycle restyling of the Camaro, with a new front and rear facia and many other trim and detail changes. The new front end was a urethane one-piece bumper-grille combination that totally changed the look of the car. It had a much more aggressive stance and a modern aerodynamic look. The rear end was completely restyled also with a new set of tail lights in the new body-colored rear facia/bumper face. Z/28s got blacked-out grilles and tail light strips, and a model-specific hood with wild new NACA air intake duct in the center. T-tops were available on all models.
