This 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS was purchased by the seller’s late father in 1988 and reportedly underwent a refurbishment over the next few years. A repaint was carried out and the seats reupholstered in 2014, and the car was recently acquired by the seller. Finished in metallic red over black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a replacement small-block Chevrolet V8 paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. Features include bucket seats, a center console, a Sony AM/FM cassette stereo, and 14″ steel wheels with polished covers. This Chevelle Malibu is being offered with service records, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Finished from the factory in Palomar Red (948), the car was repainted its current shade of metallic red following the completion of bodywork in 2014 by Main Street Auto Body of Santa Ana, California. The bumpers were re-chromed and the windshield replaced at that time. Exterior features include SS badging, quad headlights, dual exhausts, and chrome side mirrors. Various badging and trim pieces have been removed, though they are included in the sale along with two spare taillight lenses.
