This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 coupe is powered by a 396ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and finished in Chateau Slate over white vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes front and rear lap belts, a center console, a heater and defroster, Fisher-branded sill plates, and a retro-style radio mouned in the dash. An aftermarket stereo is housed under the driver’s seat.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a sweeping 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, battery status, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. A tachometer is mounted to the right of the steering column. The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 250 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 396ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt under previous ownership and features a Winters intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, aftermarket roller lifters, an orange-finished block, and chrome valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle.
