This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 489ci stroker V8 linked with a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential and is finished in silver over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes a black nose stripe, electric hideaway headlamps, a rear spoiler, SS badging, power steering, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, 18″ American Racing wheels, Hotchkis Suspension springs, Koni shock absorbers, Calvert Racing rear traction bars, Dakota Digital instrumentation, a Momo steering wheel, and a Hurst shifter as well as an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Doug’s tubular exhaust headers, and a CVF Racing serpentine drive system. The car was refurbished and modified under previous ownership and acquired by the seller in December 2022. This modified Camaro is now offered with a parts list, parts manuals, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in Yellow (Y-Y), the car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in metallic silver under previous ownership. Equipment includes a black nose stripe, electric hideaway headlamps, a rear spoiler, SS and 496 badging, HID headlamps, dual mirrors, and chrome bumpers. There are paint chips on the front fascia, grille, and the seller notes paint imperfections on the hood, the center of front bumper, and around door latch pin.
Chrome 18″ American Racing wheels are mounted with Nitto NT555 G2 tires measuring 235/40 up front and 275/35 out back. The car has been fitted with power steering, Hotchkis Suspension springs, Koni shock absorbers, Calvert Racing rear traction bars, and front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood front calipers and Right Stuff rear calipers over drilled and slotted rotors.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black leather joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The floor is covered with Dynamat insulation. Equipment includes an American Autowire wiring harness, a center console, retractable lap belts, and a Hurst shifter. The car does not have a heater and a blank faceplate has been installed in the center stack.
The three-spoke Momo steering wheel frames a Dakota Digital VHX 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and inset auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 2,100 miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. True chassis mileage is unknown.
The replacement 489ci V8 was built under previous ownership and reportedly bored 0.030″ and fitted with a forged rotating assembly, a Comp Cams XE284 camshaft, a Melling oil pump, Clevite bearings, ARP fasteners, a Cloyes timing set, and Magnum rocker arms. Additional features include a CVF Racing serpentine drive system, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley Street Avenger carburetor, an MSD distributor, a Powermaster starter, a Milodon oil pan, Taylor ignition wires, Doug’s ceramic-coated exhaust headers, and a Champion aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle. A Centerforce dual-friction clutch and pressure plate, a McLeod flywheel, custom driveshaft, Motive Gear 3.73:1 gears, Moser rear axles, and an Auburn limited-slip differential are said to have been installed under prior ownership. A Pypes dual exhaust system with Flowmaster 40-Series mufflers have been installed.
