This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible underwent modifications and a refurbishment under previous ownership that involved the installation of a 350ci V8 and a four-speed manual transmission along with a repaint in blue over a reupholstered black vinyl interior. Features include a black convertible top, power steering and brakes, 15″ Rally wheels, front bucket seats, a center console, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, long-tube headers, and a dual exhaust system. This Camaro convertible was acquired by the seller in 2022 and is now offered in New York with a set of four embroidered floor mats and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car was refinished in blue during a refurbishment believed to have taken place over two decades ago. Features include a replacement black soft top, an SS-style hood, an SS-badged fuel filler cap, chrome bumpers, and bright wheel-well and rocker-panel moldings.
Color-keyed 15″ Rally-style wheels wearing chrome hub caps and trim rings are mounted with 215/65 Goodyear Eagle ST tires. Steering is power-assisted, as are drum brakes at all four corners.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Features include a center console, a Hurst shifter, a heater and defroster, a Craig cassette receiver, and Polk Powerplay speakers. A set of embroidered floor mats will accompany the car.
A three-spoke steering wheel with a woodgrain rim and a missing horn cap fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge with inset warning lamps. The five-digit odometer shows 91k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.
The replacement 350ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an open-element air cleaner with a chrome cover, chrome valve covers with T-bar bolts, and long-tube exhaust headers flowing into a replacement dual exhaust system.
The car came from the factory with a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission that was replaced with a Muncie four-speed manual during the refurbishment.
