This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe underwent a refurbishment in 2009 and was purchased by the seller in 2010. A 396ci V8 has been installed along with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in red over black vinyl. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a Sun Super Tach II tachometer, and a fuel gauge. Aftermarket gauges monitoring amperage, oil pressure, and water temperature are positioned beneath the heater controls. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles, approximately 1,600 of which were added under current ownership; true mileage is unknown.

The 396ci V8 was installed during the aforementioned refurbishment and has a Holley intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers, and tubular exhaust headers. The carburetor has a manual choke that can be operated from the cabin. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale. The car’s chassis number indicates that it was originally powered by a 283ci V8 or a 327ci V8.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission that was installed during the refurbishment as well as a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. The fuel tank and the dual exhaust system also were replaced.
