Today, we’re visiting the Wheels of Time Car Show in Macungie, Pennsylvania. I attended this event about ten years ago, and the weather was terrible, but this weekend has been fantastic! There are some amazing cars here, so let’s go take a look.
First up, we have a rare and stunning 1949 Oldsmobile. The sage green paint job accentuates the car’s lines beautifully. The hood ornament has been uniquely integrated, and the car has been carefully modified with custom fender skirts made from a Cadillac roof. The interior is also impressive, featuring an original steering wheel and updated gauges.
Next, we have a peculiar 1984 Stutz. Built on a Firebird platform, this car features a carbon fiber body and titanium parts. The interior is not original, but it has been customized with black and white upholstery for a formal look. This car is certainly a conversation starter!
A custom-built green roadster caught our attention with its unique features, such as modified 1936 Ford spare tire covers as fenders and a custom V6 Ford engine. The interior is also beautifully crafted, with a steel 1934 Ford Roadster dash.
We then spotted a 1954 Ford Custom Line Ranch Wagon in Sea Haze Green. This two-door wagon has been modified with a chopped roof and updated interior. The car now sports a Ford 351 Windsor engine under the hood and is driven to every event by its proud owner.
Finally, we came across a 1968 Plymouth Fury III in Plum Crazy purple. The owner has de-badged the car, and its slab-sided design initially made it difficult to identify. The interior features seats from a 2005 Mercury Montego and an intricately customized dashboard. Under the hood, the original 318 engine has been replaced with a 360.
These are just a few examples of the incredible cars on display at the Wheels of Time Car Show. It’s always a pleasure to see the passion and creativity that goes into restoring and customizing these classic vehicles.
