This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS coupe is powered by a 427ci V8 mated to a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission, and both were rebuilt in 2022. The work totaled $26k and included the installation of power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, Hedman exhaust headers, Magnaflow exhaust, an Ididit steering column, and 15″ Cragar S/S wheels. The car is finished in blue over a reupholstered black interior, and it also has RS-style hideaway headlights, a cowl-induction hood, a rear spoiler, and an aftermarket stereo system. This Camaro RS coupe was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered in Arizona with a clean Iowa title.
The body was delivered from the factory in Bolero Red and was refinished under previous ownership in blue with white stripes. Exterior features include RS-style hideaway headlights, a cowl-induction hood, SS badging, a rear spoiler, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers.
The 15″ Cragar S/S wheels were mounted in 2022 and are wrapped in 205/60 front and 245/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Additional work included the addition of power-assisted front disc brakes and power steering were also added during the refurbishment, and the control arms were rebuilt.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include a center console, a heater, and an aftermarket stereo system.
An Ididit tilting column and a replacement steering wheel were fitted in 2022. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge as well as a trio of aftermarket gauges mounted underneath the center stack, and an additional pair housed in the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 427ci V8 was installed under previous ownership and it was rebuilt in 2022 by Nostalgic Enterprises of West Des Moines, Iowa. Equipment includes a Weiand intake manifold, Hedman exhaust headers, and a Champion aluminum radiator. The water pump, fuel lines, and motor mounts were also replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2022. A Magnaflow dual exhaust system is fitted.
