This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350 coupe was road-raced and competed at top-speed events under previous ownership before being acquired by the seller in 2006. Subsequent work consisted of repairing rust, re-chroming the bumpers, repainting the body, replacing suspension components, and rebuilding the engine and transmission. The car is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 mated to a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear axle and is finished in blue over black. Features include a white nose stripe, a cowl hood, an SS 350 grille and badging, front and rear spoilers, a partial roll cage, a Global West ladder bar rear suspension, disc brakes, 15″ American Racing wheels, racing bucket seats, AutoMeter instrumentation, and a Hurst shifter. The body left the factory finished in Marina Blue and is said to have been refinished under current ownership after rust repairs were performed around the rear window frame. The windshield wiper motor and arms have been removed.
The 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is fitted with a Global West ladder bar rear suspension, and braking is handled by unassisted discs at all four corners. The suspension is said to have been rebuilt under current ownership.
The cabin features racing-style black front bucket seats and a factory-style rear bench. Equipment includes a center console, a partial roll cage, Chevrolet-branded floor mats, and a Hurst shifter. A fuel cell, battery, and battery cut-off switch are mounted in the trunk.
The three-spoke steering wheel wears an SS 350 center cap and frames an AutoMeter 160-mph speedometer and tachometer. A custom gauge pod is mounted in the center stack and houses auxiliary gauges. The gauges mounted ahead of the shifter are not connected. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 6k miles, all of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt in 2017 and features a GM aluminum intake manifold, an LT-1 specification hydraulic camshaft, roller rockers, and a four-barrel carburetor. An aluminum radiator has been fitted, and an oil change was performed in the winter of 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear axle with 3.31:1 gears. The transmission is said to have been rebuilt in 2017.
