This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS coupe was built at the Van Nuys plant in California in January 1967, and it is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car has been refinished in Capri Cream over gold-colored vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes the Rally Sport equipment package, the Super Sport equipment package, a black vinyl top, 14″ Rally wheels, bucket seats, a center console, and a push-button AM radio. The car was acquired by the seller in September 2018 and had previously been titled in California. This Camaro RS/SS is offered with an owner’s manual and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s company’s name.
The car was originally finished in Capri Cream and was refinished in that shade during a refurbishment under prior ownership. Equipment includes a black vinyl roof, front and rear spoilers, chrome bumpers, and bright wheel-arch and window trim. The Super Sport package added non-functional hood vents, nose striping, and exterior badging on the fenders, grille, and fuel cap, while the Rally Sport package included vacuum-operated headlight covers, lower side moldings, and black trim.
Mounted with Firestone FR70-14 redline tires, the silver-painted 14″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and hubcaps. Braking is handled by discs at the front and drums out back, and service in preparation for the sale is said to have included replacing the rear wheel bearings as well as performing a front-end alignment.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in gold-colored vinyl with white accents and a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Additional interior equipment includes front lap belts, manual windows, a storage console, and a push-button AM radio.
The three-spoke woodgrain steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while auxiliary gauges are fitted in the console. The five-digit odometer shows 79k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was rated at 295 horsepower when new and is equipped with silver-finished valve covers, a gloss-black air-cleaner cover, and a red block. The wiring harness reportedly was replaced and the carburetor was rebuilt during the refurbishment, and a tune-up was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Additional photos showing the suspension, the chassis, and corrosion on some underbody components are presented in the gallery below.
