This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was reportedly purchased by the seller’s grandfather in 1968, and it was acquired by the seller in 2008. Refinished in maroon over a black interior, the car is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a 10-bolt rear end, front disc brakes, Bilstein dampers, and dual bucket seats. Work completed in 2021 is said to have included an oil change and brake inspection. This Camaro is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
Delivered new in Madeira Maroon (N-N), the body was repainted prior to the seller’s acquisition. Features include a driver’s door mirror, “327” fender badging, and chrome bumpers along with aftermarket headlights. Per the seller, the rear taillights are dim and the trunk weatherstripping requires replacement. Corrosion and pitting can be seen on the chrome bumpers.
The 14″ steel wheels wear painted covers and are wrapped in staggered-width BFGoodrich white-letter tires. Disc brakes are installed up front, the rear leaf springs have been replaced, and the car is equipped with Bilstein dampers at all four corners.
Standard bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, rear bench, door panels, and carpeting. The radio has been removed, and a trio of Stewart-Warner accessory gauges are mounted below the center stack. Lap belts are provided for the front and rear occupants.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 8k of which have been added by the seller.
The 327ci V8 is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and sends power rearward through a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end. An oil change and safety check was completed in 2021 according to the seller. The seller notes that the engine requires warming to operating temperature before driving.
