This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle is a two-door sedan that was modified under previous ownership including a repaint in red, fitment of a TMI Products interior, and installation of a 502ci V8 paired with a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes 17” American Racing wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, Hotchkis suspension components, Malibu SS badges, a dual exhaust system, a Holley Sniper EFI system, and a touchscreen head unit connected to a backup camera. This Chevelle was acquired by the selling dealer in January 2022 and is now offered in Florida with a Texas title.
The body was repainted in red under prior ownership and features a satin black grille and tail panel along with chrome bumpers and Malibu SS badges. The selling dealer notes blemishes in the rear bumper chrome as well as paint chips and other imperfections on the hood and fenders.
Five-spoke 17” American Racing wheels are mounted with Achilles 2233 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with a Wilwood hydraulic cylinder, and the car features Hotchkis sway bars and rear trailing arms.
The cabin is equipped with TMI Products low-back front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in gray with a matching center console and door and side panels. A touchscreen head unit is connected with a backup camera, and additional amenities include a black sueded headliner, black carpets, and front lap belts. The top of the center console is detached.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames replacement instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 493 miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The replacement 502ci V8 is equipped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system as well as aluminum cylinder heads. Additional equipment includes an aluminum radiator fitted with electric fans as well as Taylor ignition wires and chrome-finished accessories. The selling dealer notes noise from the accessory drive belts.
