This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS sport coupe underwent a refurbishment in 2009, which included refinishing the exterior in red and re-trimming the cabin in gray leather upholstery. The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 was installed in 2012 and fitted with Dart cylinder heads, a COMP camshaft, revised ECU tuning, a 102mm intake manifold, and a Ron Davis aluminum radiator. Power is routed through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Currie 9″ rear end with a limited-slip differential, and the car rides on a lowered suspension with BMR and Hotchkis components. The car left the factory finished in Ermine White and was refinished in the current shade of red during the refurbishment circa 2009. Details include quad headlights, chrome bumpers, SS badging, dual side mirrors, electric windshield wipers, quarter vent windows, and bright trim.
Gray-finished Voxx 17″ B/G Old School wheels are mounted with Toyo Extensa A/S tires said to have been mounted in 2023. A matching spare wheel with a Sentury tire is stowed in the trunk. The three-spoke steering wheel sits on a Flaming River tilting column and fronts Dakota Digital instrumentation. The odometer shows 532 miles, and the true mileage is unknown.
