This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished and modified by Goolsby Customs of Hueytown, Alabama for the 2017/2018 Goodguys Rod & Custom Association annual giveaway. The car is finished in Butternut Yellow over black leather and powered by a Edelbrock E-Force-supercharged 6.8-liter LS3 V8 paired with a Bowler Performance Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission and a Currie Enterprises 9” Positraction rear end with 3.50:1 gearing. The car was then repainted in Butternut Yellow with a black nose stripe and taillight panel. New window glass was and headlights were installed. Baer six-piston calipers and 14″ drilled slotted rotors are installed at all four corners. The rear brake hoses were replaced in January 2022.
The cabin was refurbished by M&M Hot Rod Interiors of Holly Pond, Alabama with black leather on the front and rear seats along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. In January 2022, the passenger door seal, door sills, dome light, and seat belt covers were replaced.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on an Ididit tilt column and custom “Goodguys Camaro Fifty” gauges were sourced from Classic Instruments. The odometer shows 5,400 miles, and the total chassis mileage is unknown.
The firewall was smoothed and modified prior to the installation of a 6.8-liter General Motors LS3 V8 topped with an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger. Additional equipment includes custom finned valve covers, a Concept One pulley system and power steering canister, a Powermaster alternator, AC Delco starter, C&R Racing aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, a Tanks custom fuel tank, and an American Autowire wiring harness. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Bowler Performance Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission with a Spec Stage 3 clutch and a Currie Enterprises 9” Positraction rear end with 3.50:1 gearing. Ultimate headers, a 3″ polished stainless steel exhaust system, and Flowmaster mufflers have also been added.
A color-matched custom guitar from Guitar Build Workshop in Nashville, Tennessee is included in the sale.
The current Massachusetts title shows an Odometer Discrepancy/Not Actual Mileage message.
