This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 convertible was delivered new in Marina Blue with a white soft top and black vinyl upholstery. Power comes from a numbers-matching 396ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and features include 15″ steel wheels, a 60/40 split-folding front seat, a tachometer, and an AM radio. Said to have spent many years in a barn in Montana, the car was acquired by the seller in early 2021. This Chevelle Super Sport is now offered at no reserve in Arizona with a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 2,500 miles and is said to have rolled over. Approximately 20 miles have been added by the seller.

The 396ci V8 was rated for 350 horsepower when new and is equipped with a four-barrel Holley carburetor. The engine is said to have been previously rebuilt, and the choke assembly was replaced under current ownership to address difficulty with the engine starting and warming up.

The stamping on the right side of the engine pad reads “7Z1491 94,” which matches the final characters of the car’s chassis number. The EJ suffix on the opposite side of the pad indicates a 350-horsepower 396ci V8 for use with a manual gearbox.
