This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS convertible was acquired by the seller in 1992, and later that decade the car was refinished in white, the interior was redone with black and houndstooth upholstery, and front disc brakes were added. Power comes from a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission, and other features include a powered black soft top, RS headlights, 15″ Rally wheels, power brakes, power steering, a cassette player, and air conditioning. Service in 2019 included brake work as well as replacing the passenger-side axle, dash bulbs, engine mounts, and exhaust. This Camaro is now offered with recent receipts, four books, black California license plates, and a California title in the seller’s name.
The car was delivered new in Ermine White (C-1) and reportedly was refinished in 1999. Features include a power-operated black soft top, a black nose stripe, chrome-finished bumpers, rocker-panel trim, RS headlight assemblies, and an “SS 350” front badge and fuel cap. Gray 15″ Rally-style wheels wear trim rings as well as hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A front tires and Remington XT-120 CTR rear rubber. The car is equipped with power steering and power brakes, and front discs were added in 1995. The brakes were serviced in 2019 according to the seller.
The interior was redone in 1999 and features black upholstery with white houndstooth inserts. Black carpeting covers the floors, and equipment includes air conditioning, power windows, and a Camaro-branded cassette player. The seller notes that one of the sun visors is loose and the passenger-side window requires adjustment. The dash bulbs were replaced in 2019.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles, approximately 25k of which have been added by the seller over the past three decades.
The replacement 350ci V8 is said to have been installed in 1993 and serviced in 2019 with a replacement exhaust system and engine mounts.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a two-speed automatic transmission, which the seller states was rebuilt in 1993. The passenger-side axle was replaced in 2019, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
