This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was sold new by Streit Chevrolet of La Mesa, California and was acquired by the seller in 2017. A subsequent refurbishment is said to have included a repaint in blue, installing a 350ci V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission, replacing the suspension and brake components, and refreshing the black interior. Equipment includes 17″ Ridler wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, adjustable coilover shocks, AutoMeter gauges, and a Bluetooth-compatible stereo. This first-generation Camaro is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a Protect-O-Plate, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car was reportedly stripped to bare metal and refinished in blue under current ownership following body work to replace rusted sections. Features include a vented hood, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and SS-style badging. The seller notes pitting on the rear bumper, and the car is not equipped with windshield wipers.
Ridler 17″ alloy wheels are mounted with 245/45 Sumitomo HTR Z5 tires. Work completed under current ownership is said to include installing four-wheel disc brakes and overhauling the suspension with the addition of tubular upper and lower control arms and adjustable coilover shocks.
The refreshed interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black along with matching door panels, dashboard, and carpeting. Amenities include lap belts, dual cupholders, front vent windows, a heater, a fire extinguisher, a push-button ignition, and a vintage-style Bluetooth-compatible digital stereo.
A four-spoke Grant steering wheel frames AutoMeter instruments including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 750 miles; true mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was reportedly sourced from a 1971 Camaro and installed under current ownership following a rebuild with replacement pistons, rings, and connecting rods. Additional equipment includes an MSD 6AL ignition, Hedman exhaust headers, and an Edelbrock air cleaner and intake manifolds. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The exhaust system was replaced during the refurbishment.
