This 1972 Chevrolet Impala convertible was purchased new by the owner from Hansen Chevrolet in West Los Angeles, California. The car is finished in Covert Tan over white and powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wheels, a white convertible top, boot cover, power-adjustable front bench seat, wood trim, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio. In December 2021, the transmission was rebuilt. This Impala convertible is now offered on behalf of the owner with service records, an owner’s manual, and a clean California title.
The body has been refinished in the factory Covert Tan (50) and is equipped with a white soft top that is shown raised above. Additional equipment includes chrome bumpers and trim, dual side mirrors, a single exhaust outlet, and blue California license plates. Rust is present on the bumpers, lower body panels, and rear quarter panels near the windows.
Factory 15″ steel wheels wear full covers and are mounted with 225/75 Hankook Optimo H724 whitewall tires.
The cabin features white cloth and vinyl upholstery on the power-adjustable front bench, the rear bench, and the door panels. Equipment includes a contrasting brown dashboard and carpeting, woodgrain trim, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and an AM/FM radio. There are cracks in the dashboard.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a clock. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, and the true mileage is unknown.
The 400ci V8 is topped with a two-barrel carburetor and drives the rear wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in December 2021.
