This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS convertible was purchased new through Hallman’s Chevrolet in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and acquired by the seller’s father in 1989. The car is finished in red over a black vinyl interior and is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, a boot cover, an aftermarket radio, Rally Sport badging, and 15″ Rally-style wheels. This RS Camaro convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with the removed factory radio, 1968 purchase documents, manufacturer’s literature, workshop manuals, parts receipts, service records, and New York registration.
The car was factory-finished in Matador Red (R) and is said to have been repainted approximately 15 years ago. Equipment includes a black convertible top and boot cover along with Rally Sport badging, black nose and body stripes, and dual exhaust outlets. Rally-style 15″ wheels wear bright trim rings and are mounted with Firestone Super Sports redline tires.

The seller notes that the windows require alignment, and that the driver’s seatback has been repaired. The rearview mirror was repaired in preparation for the sale. The removed factory radio will accompany the car.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a gauge for fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.
The 327ci V8 was rated at 275 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller states a high-capacity radiator has been installed. An oil change was performed in March 2022.
