This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe was acquired by the seller in 2007 and underwent a two-year refurbishment that was completed in 2012. The car is powered by a replacement 496ci V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and an Eaton Positraction rear end, and it is finished in blue over black vinyl. Equipment includes a Competition Cams hydraulic roller camshaft and valvetrain, Edelbrock Performer cylinder heads, Hedman headers, a Holley 850 carburetor, Ridetech coil springs and sway bars, Strange axles, and a dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers. Staggered-diameter American Racing wheels are fitted along with front disc brakes, a Vintage Air heater, and a retro-style radio. The seller notes that the body was refinished in Borealis Blue Pearl metallic during the refurbishment, and additional work included repairing rust behind the rear wheel wells, smoothing the firewall, and applying a color-matched urethane coating on the underside, wheel wells, and trunk interior. The windshield, grille, trim, headlights, and chrome bumpers are said to have been replaced.

American Racing 15″ and 16″ wheels are mounted with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires up front and Hoosier Drag Radial tires out back. Suspension work as part of the refurbishment is said to include installing 1″ drop spindles, Ridetech coil springs and sway bars, and urethane bushings and sleeves as well as replacing the shocks and ball joints. Drilled and slotted brake rotors and replacement calipers are fitted up front along with replacement rear drums and stainless-steel brake lines.

The cabin was refreshed under current ownership and features front and rear bench seats trimmed in black vinyl. The seller notes that the tub, roof, and doors were fitted with DynaMat, and the dash pad, door sill plates, switches, bezels, and wiring were replaced. Equipment includes a Vintage Air heater with fabricated dashboard controls, a vintage-style digital radio with a USB hookup located in the glove box, and a digital antenna. The 496ci V8 is said to have been built by Madcap Racing Engines in Denver, Colorado, and installed by the seller during refurbishment work completed in 2012. Engine modifications reportedly include the following:

A GM 12-bolt rear end, Strange axles, and a fabricated cross member are also fitted. The 3″ exhaust system features electric exhaust cutouts, Magnaflow mufflers, and polished exhaust tips.
