This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS coupe is a gold-over-gold example that was acquired by the seller in 2019 and fitted with a 383ci stroker V8. The car wears an SS-style hood with raised simulated air intakes as well as concealed headlights, front and rear spoilers, bumper guards, and a black vinyl roof. It rides on tubular front control arms with adjustable coilovers up front along with air bags out back and has been upgraded with four-wheel disc brakes. Shifting is through a Hughes Performance 700R-4 four-speed automatic transmission, and the engine is equipped with a Holley EFI system as well as a dual exhaust system with long-tube headers and an H-pipe. Inside, the cabin houses front bucket seats and a center console along with an AM radio, a Bluetooth-capable stereo, and a Vintage Air climate control system. This Camaro RS coupe is now offered in Glendale, California, with a car cover, spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Granada Gold (G) with a black vinyl roof (2). The Rally Sport Package added an RS full-width grille, concealed headlights, and badging along with parking and direction signal lights mounted below the front bumper and backup lights below the rear bumper. This example is further equipped with a black nose stripe as well as an SS-style hood with raised simulated air intakes, front and rear spoilers, and bumper guards.
The 14″ Rally wheels are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich tires. Tubular control arms and adjustable coilovers have been added up front, while air bags have been installed out back. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in gold vinyl accompanied by lap belts for four occupants. An AM radio is retained in the factory location, and a Bluetooth-capable stereo and trunk-mounted subwoofer have been added along with a Vintage Air climate control system.
An aftermarket wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline. A clock and auxiliary gauges are located ahead of the shifter, and a Holley Sniper EFI control unit is installed in the locking glovebox. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 383 stroker V8 is said to have been sourced from BluePrint Engines of Kearney, Nebraska, and was installed in 2022. It is equipped with a Holley Sniper EFI system and wears a black-finished air cleaner assembly and valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hughes Performance 700R-4 four-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle. The dual exhaust system features long-tube headers and an H-pipe.
