This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was purchased by the seller 15 years ago and has since received updates including a 350ci small-block V8 in place of its original straight-six, a 3-speed Turbo 350 transmission, and a 10-bolt Positraction differential with 3.73:1 gears. The car is finished in non-factory gold with a black soft top, while the interior is trimmed in black vinyl. Other work and modifications included a power front disc brake conversion, aftermarket wheels, and refreshed front suspension. This Camaro is offered with a typed service list from the seller’s ownership, removed engine and driveline parts, and transferable New York registration in the seller’s name.

The body received new fenders and quarter panels under previous ownership, followed by a repaint in non-original gold. Blemishes in the older finish can be viewed in the gallery. The seller notes that side marker lights were not cut into the fenders or quarter panels during the past work.

A set of aftermarket SS fender badges were installed along with American Racing aluminum wheels, which are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The seller notes wear in the weatherstripping for the convertible top.

The black vinyl interior includes bucket seats and a center console with a horsehoe-handle shifter for the automatic transmission. An older aftermarket radio is linked to speakers installed in the rear side panels. Both sun visors, the passenger-side grab bar, and the left and right vent inserts are missing as shown in photos. A Super Pro tachometer is mounted to the top of the steering colum, while stock instrumentation includes a 5-digit odometer showing approximately 86k miles.

A 4-bolt main Chevrolet 350ci V8 and 3-speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission have been installed in place of the factory inline-six and 2-speed Powerglide, which have also been retained by the seller. Power is sent rearward to a 10-bolt differential with Positraction and 3.73:1 gearing. Approximately 2,500 miles have been put on the replacement driveline according to the seller.

Power disc brakes with stainless lines have been added up front, and the suspension was refreshed during the seller’s ownership with a new Pitman arm, control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rods, and springs, and shocks.
