This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished under previous ownership and is powered by a 476ci V8 linked with a Richmond six-speed manual transmission, a 12-bolt rear axle, 3.08:1 gears, and Strange axles. The car is finished in yellow with black stripes over black vinyl upholstery and equipment includes FiTech electronic fuel injection, an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, a Crane roller camshaft, MSD ignition, Hooker headers, front and rear sway bars, traction bars, Wilwood front disc brakes, 15″ Weld wheels, RS-style hideaway headlights, front and rear spoilers, an eight-point roll cage, AutoMeter instrumentation, a Hurst shifter, and a custom sound system. The seller purchased the car on BaT in February 2022 and this Camaro is now offered with refurbishment records and photos, spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The body was refinished under previous ownership in yellow with black stripes and rocker panels. Additional exterior details include RS-style hideaway headlights, a front spoiler, a driver-side mirror, a rear spoiler, chrome bumpers, and SS badging.
Polished 15″ Weld wheels are mounted with 215/65 BFGoodrich Radial T/A front and 275/60 Nitto NT555R rear tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, welded subframe connectors, rear traction bars, and front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by Wilwood front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features an eight-point roll cage as well as front bucket seats and a rear bench that are upholstered in black vinyl. Woodgrain trim accents the center stack and additional equipment includes a Painless wiring harness, a FiTech GO-EFI module, a Hurst T-handle shifter, and a retro-style digital stereo linked to a Kenwood amplifier housed in the trunk.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock. Auxiliary AutoMeter Phantom gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are housed in the center console. The five-digit odometer is inoperative and shows 29k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
