This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe has been refinished in yellow with black stripes over a reupholstered black interior, and power is supplied by a 1971 Camaro Z28–sourced 350ci LT1 V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission through a 12-bolt rear end with Positraction. The car was originally delivered to Cox Chevrolet Company of Morrilton, Arkansas, and it reportedly later spent about 12 years in the Strosnider Chevrolet dealership showroom in Hopewell, Virginia. Purchased by the seller in 2018, the car subsequently has been modified with added front power disc brakes, re-gearing the rear end to a 3.31:1 ratio, and installing rear floor insulation, as well as replacing the power-steering pump, alternator, distributor, rear shocks, flywheel, and clutch. This first-generation Camaro is now offered in Virginia with service records from current ownership, an NCRS Shipping Data report, assorted spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

Originally finished in Ermine White (C), the car is said to have been repainted Butternut Yellow with black stripes under prior ownership. The seller states that some body panels may have been replaced and notes rock chips in the finish as well as paint peeling and chipping on the rear passenger-side seam by the taillight. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, bright rocker-panel trim, and a 1969-spec cowl-induction hood.

The interior has been reupholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels and carpeting, replacing the original red (724) trim. The seller notes that the kick panels and the steering wheel have been repainted in black and reports that some of the interior trunk panels appear to have been replaced. The center console features auxiliary gauges, and a delete  panel has been installed in place of the factory radio. The rear carpeting was removed and reinstalled over replacement insulation.

The 350ci LT1 V8 bears casting suffix CGP, which is appropriate for a 1971 LT1 from a Camaro Z28 with a four-speed manual transmission. The seller notes that the engine intermittently runs rough and that the oil was changed in November 2020. Additional servicing under current ownership has included replacement of the fuel filter, spark plugs, battery cables, CS130 alternator, distributor, aluminum valve covers and gaskets, and PCV and air-intake grommets. An uninstalled replacement starter and alternator are included in the sale.
