This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was modified in 2012 and initially outfitted with an LS3 V8 and a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission by Rockland Standard Gear. The seller acquired the car in 2019 and sold it to the current owner in 2021, at which time a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 from Mast Motorsports was installed. The car rides on 18″ Forgeline wheels, a Speedtech Performance front subframe and rear torque arms, and Ridetech coilovers. Additional equipment includes a 9″ rear end with a 3.86:1 gear set as well as a Strange Engineering center section, Stainless Works headers, and Baer four-wheel disc brakes. The interior houses a roll cage, Corbeau bucket seats, Vintage Air climate control, an Infinity digital media receiver, and an NRG Innovations steering wheel. This modified Camaro coupe is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with partial build records, a signed copy of Swap LS Engines into Camaros & Firebirds 1967-1981, and an Oklahoma title in the owner’s name.

The seller notes that the body was finished in the Kia shade of Cobalt Blue during the build. A revised front bumper and rear spoiler are fitted, and the cowl induction hood has white accents and “Blue Hour” text. Exterior blemishes are highlighted in the gallery below.

Forgeline 18″ GX3 wheels that measure 9″ wide up front and 12″ wide out back are mounted with 275/35 and 315/30 Falken Azenis tires, respectively. The rear wheel wells have been mini-tubbed, and a Speedtech Performance front subframe and rear torque arms are installed. Additional components include Ridetech coilovers, tubular control arms, a panhard bar, and rack and pinion steering. Baer calipers are fitted over cross-drilled and slotted discs at all four corners.

The cabin is outfitted with a four-point roll bar and Corbeau front bucket seats trimmed in black with microsuede inserts. The rear seats have been removed. A Vintage Air climate control system, a fire extinguisher, and push-button ignition are installed. An Infinity digital media receiver is linked to aftermarket speakers.

The flat-bottom NRG Innovations steering wheel has red stitching and fronts a digital information display and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer shows 4,100 miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 7.0-liter LS7 V8 was sourced from Mast Motorsports and installed in 2021, according to the seller. The Auto Rad radiator is paired with a dual fan system, and Stainless Works headers feed a 2.5″ exhaust system with an X-pipe and Trans Am-style mufflers. A Kwik Performance air conditioning relocation kit has also been utilized.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed T56 manual transmission that was built by Rockland Standard Gear in their Tranzilla specification. A RAM clutch, pressure plate, and aluminum flywheel are installed. The Bear’s Performance Products 9″ rear end is equipped with a 3.89:1 gear set and a Strange Engineering center section.
