This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro was acquired by the seller in 2015 and subsequently underwent a two-year refurbishment that is said to have consisted of installing a Chevrolet Performance 427ci V8, a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, a Moser 12-bolt rear axle, and front disc brakes along with replacing various body panels and glass, repainting the car in teal, and retrimming the black interior. Additional features include power steering, 15″ American Racing Wheels, Bilstein shocks, a Pypes dual exhaust system, an electronic ignition, a PowerMaster alternator, a retro-style digital stereo, and front and rear spoilers as well as a Yenko-style hood, stripes, and badging. This Camaro was previously listed on BaT in October 2022 and is now offered with Rhode Island registration.

The roof, fenders, rear quarter panels, and hood were replaced during the refurbishment under current ownership, and the car was subsequently refinished in teal with white stripes on the nose and sides. Features include a black grille and tail panel along with a Yenko-style hood, Yenko badging, chrome bumpers, and front and rear spoilers. The tint along the edges of the rear window is bubbling.

Gray-finished 15″ American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires measuring 215/65 up front and 225/60 out back. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Cross-drilled rotors are installed up front, and Bilstein shocks are fitted at all four corners.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl with houndstooth cloth inserts joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, carpets, and door panels. Corrosion is visible on the trunk floor.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an inset analog clock. Gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage are stacked in two tiers in the center console ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 7k miles, though total mileage is unknown.

The replacement Chevrolet Performance 427ci V8 breathes through a four-barrel carburetor and features an aluminum intake manifold, an electronic ignition, a PowerMaster alternator, long-tube exhaust headers, and black-finished valve covers with Chevrolet script.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a Moser 12-bolt rear axle with a Positraction differential and 3.55:1 gears.
