This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 coupe was delivered new to Yarnell-Todd Chevrolet in Wheeling, Illinois, and was refurbished under previous ownership. Work included overhauling the 302ci V8 and the Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission, repainting the car blue with black stripes, reupholstering interior surfaces in black vinyl, and replacing braking and exhaust components. Additional equipment includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Eaton PosiTraction rear differential, 15″ rally wheels, power steering, front disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, and a retro-style digital head unit. This Z/28 was acquired by the seller in 2017 and is offered with an NCRS shipping data report and transferable New York registration in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Le Mans Blue and was repainted under previous ownership. Details include a black hood and decklid stripes, front and rear spoilers, and a cowl-induction hood as well as Camaro, Z/28, 302, and rally-sport badging.
Silver 15″ rally wheels feature chrome lips and are mounted with E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GT tires. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The seller states braking components were replaced in 2014.
The front bucket seats and contoured rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl that is said to have been sourced from Legendary Auto Interiors. Appointments include woodgrain trim, Z/28-branded floor mats, and a retro-style digital head unit. The seller states the door panels, seat belts, and window handles were replaced during the refurbishment.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer. A set of four supplementary gauges are mounted ahead of the shifter. The mechanical odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 and Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission are said to have been overhauled in 2014. The car is equipped with finned valve covers, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a 12-bolt rear axle, and an Eaton PosiTraction differential. The oil was most recently changed in 2022.
