This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu coupe was acquired by the seller in 2017 from a repair shop in Canoga Park, California. The car features a repaint in red over a reupholstered black vinyl interior, and power is provided by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The seller states that recent service includes an oil change and replacement of the front brake pads, the turn signal and headlight switches, the sill plates, the trunk lock cylinder, the door lock knobs, and the Astro Ventilation vent ball. This Chevelle is now offered with a clean California title.
Originally finished in Fathom Green, the body was repainted red with black racing stripes in November 2019. The hood was replaced by a previous owner, and the seller notes a dent in the rear bumper and a broken left tail light bulb socket. Close-ups of the finish and trim can be viewed in the gallery.
15″ Rallye-style wheels and 215/70 front and 235/60 rear Cooper Cobra Radial R/T tires were installed in February 2020. The seller reports that the front brake pads were recently replaced.
The factory green vinyl interior was reupholstered in black and gray two-tone during previous ownership. A Pioneer CD player is fitted, and the turn signal and headlight switches, the sill plates, the trunk lock cylinder, the trunk mat, the door lock knobs, and the Astro Ventilation vent ball were replaced in February 2020. Interior flaws pictured in the gallery include holes in the driver-side seat cover, separation of the dash pad, and a missing dome light cover.
The three-spoke Grant GT steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and supplemental aftermarket gauges for voltage, water temperature, and oil pressure. The speedometer does not work, and the five-digit odometer shows 58k miles. True mileage is unknown.

The 350ci V8 features an MSD ignition system, tubular headers, an aluminum radiator with electric fans, and chrome engine accessories. The seller states that the starter and battery were recently replaced.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. There is a leak from the steering box, and corrosion is noted on underside hardware. There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
