This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe was acquired by the seller in 2015 and subsequently fitted with a BluePrint Engines 496ci V8 and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The car is also equipped with 18″ wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a Stainless Works exhaust system, coilovers, and Ridetech suspension components. It is finished in red over black vinyl and also has a Vintage Air climate control system, a Pioneer head unit, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and a Shiftworks shift kit. This Chevelle is now offered with a Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in red with black side stripes and equipped with a twin-domed hood, chrome bumpers, and SS and 396 badging. There are scratches along the front fenders and imperfections around the body are noted.
Multi-spoke 18 ” wheels are mounted with 245/45 front and 285/45 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. Ridetech components include coilovers, a tubular front suspension, and a four-link rear setup. A Musclebar sway bar is also installed. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs, and the car has power steering.
The front bucket and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl. A Shiftworks shifter kit, Vintage Air climate control, and a Pioneer head unit have been installed. A fire extinguisher is housed in the glovebox.
A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Dakota Digital instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The digital odometer shows 2,100 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 496 ci engine was sourced from BluePrint Engines and installed in 2016. It is equipped with Stainless Works headers, a Milodon oil pan, a Holley 850 carburetor, and a black air cleaner assembly and valve covers.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ rear end. The dual exhaust system is equipped with Stainless Works mufflers.
The current Texas title carries a “VIN Certification Waived” notation.
