This 1972 Chevrolet Nova coupe is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Spring Green over a black interior. Additional equipment includes 14″ steel wheels with full covers along with power steering and brakes, side moldings, woodgrain trim, and a push-button AM radio. The car was initially delivered to Povey Chevrolet of Red Bluff, California and was acquired by the seller in October 2021, reportedly from the estate of the original owner. Subsequent work consisted of changing the oil and replacing the accessory drive belts, coolant hoses, air filter, and spark plugs. This Nova is offered at no reserve with a build sheet, yellow-on-blue California plates, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Spring Green and features waistline side moldings and chrome trim on the bumpers and grille. Exterior details include vent windows, a driver-side mirror, and “Nova” badging. Corrosion on the roof is shown in the gallery, and the car wears yellow-on-blue California plates.
This is a re-list after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in May 2022 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.
The 14″ steel wheels wear polished covers and Hercules white-line tires, which the seller notes are in need of replacement. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel drums, and the car is equipped with power steering.
The cabin features front and rear bench seating upholstered in black vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Woodgrain trim lines the door panels, and additional equipment includes a glovebox, a cigarette lighter, and a push-button AM radio.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 38k miles, approximately 50 of which have been added by the seller.
The 350ci V8 was reportedly serviced in 2022 with work including an oil change as well as replacing the accessory drive belts, coolant hoses, spark plugs, and air filter.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and 2.73:1 differential. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery below.
The build sheet lists that the car was ordered through Povey Chevrolet and notes colors and equipment.
