This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was refurbished and modified under previous ownership in 2017 before its acquisition by the seller in January 2020. The car is finished in brown pearl over a customized tan interior, and power comes from a GM-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a Currie Enterprises 9″ limited-slip rear end with 3.89:1 gears, Detroit Speed suspension, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Schott Accelerator wheels, polished headers, a Hurst shifter, a touchscreen sound system, and more. The car won several Goodguys Rod & Custom events following completion, including the 2017 Style and Engineering and Meguiar’s Magnificent Masterpiece Awards as well as the 2018 Goodguys Builders’ Choice Top 10 Award. This custom Camaro is offered with a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The body was reportedly fitted with replacement sheet metal before being finished in PPG Deltron Luxury Brown Pearl, a 2017 Dodge Ram color. Exterior features include a custom front spoiler and an integrated rear spoiler as well as RS-style electric headlight covers from Detroit Speed. A billet grille, mirrors, bumpers, door handles, and fender trim were sourced from Billet Specialties, and custom taillight assemblies feature billet surrounds.
Custom-built Schott Accelerator wheels measure 18” up front and 19” out back, and were painted to match parts of the chassis. Braking is handled by four-wheel Wilwood discs with slotted and cross-drilled rotors, while suspension components are from Detroit Speed.
The interior is trimmed in caramel Ultraleather with silver seat inserts and tan carpets. Features include a custom-fabricated dash and center console, a Vintage Air HVAC system, seat belts, and a Hurst shifter with a leather boot as well as billet door handles, window cranks, and pedals. The audio system includes a Soundstream head unit with a retractable touchscreen and remote control, two Kicker panel speakers, and two rear tray speakers.
A leather-wrapped billet steering wheel mounted on a Flaming River chrome tilt steering column frames Marshall gauges including a tachometer and a 160-mph speedometer. Approximately 150 miles are said to show on the digital odometer, 10 of which have been added by the seller.
The 6.2-liter GM LS3 crate engine features Billet Specialties valve covers and a custom intake cover. Additional engine bay features include a custom pulley system, an aluminum radiator with a billet overfill canister, dual electric fans, concealed wiring, and aluminum hood hinges. Polished headers feed a dual exhaust system with Hooker mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a Currie Enterprises Ford 9″ rear end with a 3.89:1 limited-slip differential. The underside has been painted to match the exterior, and chassis components are finished in the same hue as the wheels.
