This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was acquired by the seller in 2005 and underwent a refurbishment that was completed in 2024. Work involved installing a 350ci V8 equipped with Vortec-specification cylinder heads, a Holley carburetor, and a COMP Cams roller camshaft, and shifting is through a four-speed Muncie M20 manual transmission. The car was refinished in red with black stripes over a refreshed black interior and equipped with American Racing 15″ Torq Thrust wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and power-assisted steering. Additional equipment includes retractable headlights, chrome bumpers, front and rear spoilers, a Hurst shifter, air conditioning, and a Custom AutoSound head unit linked to Hertz speakers. This Camaro coupe is now offered with refurbishment photos and a Texas title in the seller’s name.
The body was delivered from the factory in Garnet Red and was refinished in its current shade of red with dual black stripes in 2023 following the replacement of rusted panels. Exterior equipment includes retractable headlights, dual side mirrors, front and rear spoilers, chrome bumpers, and Z/28 badging.
American Racing 15″ Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with 215/65 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. Front suspension components were refreshed in 2006, per the seller.
The refreshed cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench equipped with replacement cushions trimmed in black vinyl. Replacement black carpets were fitted over spray-on sound-dampening material. A Classic Auto Air climate control system is installed, and a Custom AutoSound Bluetooth head unit is linked to Hertz speakers.
The woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary readouts are mounted ahead of the Hurst shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 329 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was installed by the seller in 2023 and equipped with a Holley carburetor, Vortec-specification cylinder heads, threaded rocker studs, and a COMP Cams XR270 roller camshaft, lifters, and roller-tip rockers. The wiring harness was also replaced and a CVF Racing serpentine belt system was fitted.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed Muncie M20 manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. The seller notes that a McLeod flywheel and an 11″ clutch and pressure plate are installed. The dual exhaust system is equipped with Pypes mufflers.
