This 1971 Chevrolet Nova is said to have been purchased new by the seller’s father, and a multi-year refurbishment was completed in the late 2000s. Power comes from a replacement 350ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a PosiTraction differential with 3.90:1 gears, and a domed hood was installed before the exterior was repainted in black. The cabin was fitted with heated and ventilated Corbeau front bucket seats trimmed in black leather during the build, at which point the headliner and carpets were replaced and an aftermarket air conditioning system was installed along with a retro-look Bluetooth stereo connected to an equalizer, an amplifier, a subwoofer, and revised speakers. This Nova is now offered with and a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.
The car was repainted in black after rust repairs were performed on the rear quarter panels during the refurbishment. Details include a domed hood with retainer pins as well as dual side mirrors, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.
Polished American Racing 17″ Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 235/60 rear Cooper tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.
The front Corbeau bucket seats are trimmed in black leather, and the factory rear bench was reupholstered to match during the refurbishment. The headliner, carpets, and pillar trim were replaced at that time as well. The front seats are fitted with heating and ventilation elements, and additional details include a Hurst shifter, air conditioning, automatic door locks, and a retro-look Bluetooth stereo linked to an equalizer, aftermarket speakers, two Rockford Fosgate amplifiers, and subwoofer.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits on a tilting column and fronts a Dakota Digital instrument cluster with a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary displays. The digital odometer shows 33 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci crate V8 was installed in 2007, and it is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold. The seller states less than 20k miles have been covered since the engine was installed.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear end with a PosiTraction differential and 3.90:1 gears.
