This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was produced at General Motors’ Norwood, Ohio, facility in May 1969, and was acquired by the seller in March 2021. The car was subsequently refurbished with work including replacing the fenders, quarter panels, and wheel wells, repairing the firewall and toe boards, rebuilding the engine and transmission, and retrimming the interior. The body is finished Frost Green over black upholstery and power is provided by a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. Additional equipment includes 15″ Magnum-500 style wheels, front disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, chrome trim, a cowl-induction hood, air conditioning, a center console, woodgrain interior trim, and a vintage-look AM/FM radio. This Camaro is now offered a clean Iowa title in the seller’s name.
The fenders, quarter panels, and wheel wells were reportedly replaced and the car was repainted in its factory shade of Frost Green with black side stripes in March 2022. Features include front and rear spoilers, 350 badging, dual side mirrors, a cowl-induction hood, bumper integrated fog lights, faux quarter-panel vents, a dual-exit exhaust, and chrome trim on the bumpers, grille, rocker panels, wheel arches, and window surrounds.
The 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels wear SS center emblems along with 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. Braking is handled by unassisted front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and rear bench were retrimmed in black vinyl during the refurbishment. Woodgrain trim lines the center console, steering wheel, and dashboard, and additional equipment include air conditioning, rubber floor mats, lap belts for all occupants, and a vintage-look AM/FM radio with an auxiliary input.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 900 miles, all of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The firewall and toe boards were repaired and the replacement 350ci V8 was rebuilt and installed in March 2022. Components installed rebuild include World Products cylinder heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a cowl-induction air intake, and finned valve covers.
Power is to the rear wheels through a rebuilt TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a replacement 12-bolt rear axle. The transmission is said to be equipped with a shift kit and a 2,800-rpm stall torque converter.
