This 1967 Chevrolet Impala was manufactured in Arlington, Texas and was acquired by its current owner in 2015. A refurbishment completed in the same year reportedly included exterior and interior color changes as well as a rebuild of its 327ci V8, and a manual transmission conversion, a front disc brake conversion, and more. This Impala is offered by a friend of the owner with refurbishment receipts and a clean Massachusetts title in the owner’s name.
Finished from the factory in Granada Gold (GG), the car was given a color change to its current Evening Orchid in 2015. According to the seller, rust repairs and bodywork were performed prior to the paintwork. Current imperfections include occasional chips and scratches as well as a bubble near the rear window trim as pictured in the gallery below.
Cosmetic updates for the 1967 model year included Corvette-inspired front and rear fender bulges. Color-matched 15″ Rally wheels feature chrome trim rings and wear a set of BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A disc brake conversion was carried out during the refurbishment. A walk-around video has been provided by the seller.
The interior was changed from gold (888) to black vinyl and cloth upholstery at the time of the refurbishment. Further additions include a set of accessory gauges, a modern CD player, air conditioning, and a Hurst floor shifter. The 5-digit odometer shows 38k miles.
The 327ci L30 V8 was rated at 275 horsepower when new and is paired with a new 4-speed Muncie manual transmission fitted in place of the factory automatic. Underhood equipment includes a 4-barrel carburetor and aftermarket aluminum radiator. An oil change was reportedly performed in June 2018. An engine start-up video and several others are featured on the seller’s YouTube channel.
Additional photos are provided to detail the condition of the underbody in the gallery below, which also contains an image of the cowl showing the original color, trim, and accessory codes.
