This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was reportedly modified and refurbished around 2015, including a repaint in gray and the installation of a 502ci Ram Jet V8 crate engine. The door handles have been shaved and a cowl-induction hood installed, while the interior features black vinyl seats with houndstooth fabric inserts, carbon fiber dash trim, a Lokar shifter, AutoMeter gauges, and a digital radio. Additional equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a Griffin radiator with twin electric cooling fans, power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, QA1 coilovers, a Flowmaster exhaust system, American Racing wheels, and LED lights. This modified Camaro was acquired by the seller in 2019 and is now offered with a clean Massachusetts title in the name of the seller’s wife.
The car was repainted in a GM shade of Cyber Gray Metallic during prior ownership. The door handles have been shaved, and exterior features include a cowl-induction hood, fog lights, front and rear spoilers, LED headlights and taillights, “502” fender badging, and chrome side mirrors. Door and trunk poppers have been added.
Five-spoke American Racing wheels sized 18″ up front and 20″ out back are mounted with Nitto Invo tires that measure 255/45 and 315/35 respectively. The front suspension features tubular upper and lower control arms while the rear utilizes an adjustable ladder bar suspension setup with QA1 coilover shocks and a mini-tub kit. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes with a custom booster, cross-drilled rotors, a polished Wilwood master cylinder, and stainless-steel lines. The seller notes the brake system requires service and the front tires rub the fenders.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench that are trimmed in black vinyl with houndstooth cloth centers. Amenities include an aftermarket center console with cupholders, carbon fiber trim on the dash, a digital radio, a Lokar shifter, and crank windows.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts AutoMeter gauges consisting of a 10k-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and auxiliary readouts for oil pressure, voltage, water temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 4k miles, approximately 2,800 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 502ci Ram Jet GM V8 crate engine was installed during prior ownership and features stainless-steel headers, a Billet Specialties pulley kit, a polished alternator, and a Griffin radiator with twin Derale Performance electric cooling fans. An aluminum fuel tank is located in the trunk and is equipped with a billet high-volume fuel pump and braided stainless-steel lines.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission that was reportedly rebuilt during prior ownership. The front sub-frame is said to have been powder-coated, and a Flowmaster exhaust system is installed. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
