This 1967 Chevrolet Impala was refurbished and modified between 2021 and 2022 and is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and a custom exhaust system with ceramic-coated headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and electric-operated cutouts, while the Lokar floor-mounted shifter controls the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that is linked to a 10-bolt rear end. An aluminum radiator, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, 18″ and 20″ American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels, Dakota Digital gauges, and an Ididit tilt steering column have also been installed. Finished in red over black vinyl upholstery, the car was acquired by the selling dealer in June 2023, and subsequent service involved overhauling the power-assisted steering system and installing rear lowering springs. This modified Impala is now offered at no reserve in Sarasota, Florida, with refurbishment records and a clean Illinois title.
Finishing in Bolero Red from the factory, the car was repainted under previous ownership and features chrome bumpers and trim, a cowl induction-style hood, a left-side mirror, and an antenna. Replacement weatherstripping, quarter panel emblems, and taillights were installed during the refurbishment. Some weather seals are cracked.
This is a re-list after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in November 2023 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted.
Chrome-finished American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels measuring 18″ up front and 20″ out back are mounted with 255/35 front and 265/45 rear Toyo Proxes ST tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering, and the center link, steering linkage, idler arm, and tie rods were replaced by the selling dealer. Rear 2″ lowering springs were also added at that time, and Classic Performance drop spindles have also been installed. The brake system has been modified with a Wilwood master cylinder as well as six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The front and rear bench seats are trimmed in black viny. A replacement wiring harness was installed during the refurbishment along with a Lokar floor-mounted shifter and a replacement dashboard pad, rear-view mirror, radio blanking plate, rear parcel shelf, window cranks, door panel armrests, lock pulls, and pedals.
The replacement three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on an Ididit tilt column ahead of Dakota Digital gauges that include a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 36 miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 was fitted with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an MSD distributor, and a Griffin Performance aluminum radiator during the refurbishment. A replacement thermostat housing, water pump, and power steering pump were also installed along with a Billet Specialties 14″ air cleaner, serpentine belt pulleys, and Chevrolet-branded aluminum valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a replacement TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a 3” chromoly driveshaft, both of which were installed during the refurbishment. The headers were ceramic-coated at that time, and the custom exhaust system features dual Flowmaster mufflers and electric-operated cutouts. The differential was also rebuilt.
