This 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS hardtop was built in Lordstown, Ohio and is said to have remained under original ownership until its purchase by the seller in 2012. Power is supplied by a 283ci V8 backed by a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes power brakes, Strato bucket seats, and a Delco radio. Maintenance following the seller’s purchase has included servicing the transmission and rebuilding the carburetor. This Impala Super Sport is now offered with service records from current ownership, a reproduction window sticker, scoring sheets, and a clean Oklahoma title in the seller’s name.
Featuring a pillarless roof design with retractable side windows, the body is finished in Tuxedo Black and is equipped with a special grille, rocker trim, and badging as part of the Super Sport package. Additional photos in the gallery highlight the condition of the exterior finish and trim.
Steel wheels wear Super Sport–branded covers and Firestone redline tires. A full-size spare mounted with a Uniroyal whitewall tire resides within the trunk.
A red monochromatic interior treatment encompasses the front bucket seats, the rear bench, carpeting, door panels, and dashboard. Amenities include a center console, a Delco AM radio, and seatbelts for the front and rear occupants.
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, an analog clock, and a suite of warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows just under 14k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the seller.
The 283ci Turbo-Fire V8 is topped with a two-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 195 horsepower for 1967. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Maintenance completed by the seller since 2012 has included servicing the transmission, rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the fuel filter, and changing the engine oil.
