This 1963 Chevrolet Camaro was acquired by the seller in 2013 and was subsequently refurbished and modified. Work included a body-off repaint in Synergy Green over a reupholstered black leather and suede interior, installation of a 6.0-liter LS2 V8, and conversion to four-wheel disc brakes. Shifting is through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, Torq Thrust 17″ wheels, a rear spoiler, Global West tubular control arms, Hotchkis sway bars, power windows and locks, Vintage Air climate control, and a Bluetooth stereo. Approximately 350 miles have been added since completion of the build in 2015. This modified Camaro is now offered with refurbishment records and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car was disassembled and stripped to bare metal before being refinished in GM Synergy Green with a black hood treatment and “Camaro LS2” side stripes. Tint has been applied to the windows, and additional features include a front lip, color-matched bumpers, an integrated rear spoiler, a vented hood bulge, and LS2 badging. Exterior blemishes are pointed out by the seller in the image gallery below.
Black-finished 17″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with 245/45 front and 315/35 rear Sumitomo HTR45Z tires. The seller states that the suspension components were powdercoated and include Global West tubular control arms as well as Hotchkis front and rear sway bars. Each corner is equipped with disc brakes.
The interior was refreshed during the refurbishment and features bolstered seats upholstered in black leather with green stitching, which extends to the center console and shifter boot. The door panels are trimmed in suede, and an LS2 badge has been added to the dashboard. Rubber Z28-branded floor mats line the footwells. Other features include a Vintage Air climate-control system, power windows and locks, a carbon-look shift knob, and a Bluetooth-equipped Alpine head unit linked with Focal speakers. A paint chip in the driver’s door sill is shown up close in the gallery.
An aftermarket steering wheel mounted on an NRG hub sits ahead of Dakota Digital instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. Each main gauge has an integrated digital indicator, and the tachometer features a check engine light. The odometer is said to show 350 miles; total mileage is unknown.
The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 was installed during the refurbishment and is said to have been sourced from a Pontiac GTO. Color-keyed Camaro engine covers have been fitted, and other features include tubular exhaust headers, Flowmaster mufflers, an electric fuel pump, and a replacement fuel tank.
Power is delivered rearward through a six-speed Tremec T-56 manual transmission, an aluminum driveshaft, and a limited-slip differential. Additional images of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
