This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro was acquired by the selling dealer out of San Jose, California in 2019, and it reportedly underwent a refurbishment under previous ownership that included an engine replacement and a repaint in blue with white stripes. Power is supplied by a 350ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission. Work completed in preparation for the sale is said to have included replacement of the windshield, dash pad, fuel tank, and exhaust. This second-generation Camaro is now offered in Nevada with a clean California title.
The body was originally Midnight Blue (29) according to the trim tag, and it was repainted in the current color at an unknown point during prior ownership. The car is equipped with white center stripes, an aftermarket grille, and front chrome bumperettes, and the doors feature replacement glass, guides, and felts according to the seller. Chipped paint is noted on and below the driver’s door.
Silver 15″ Rally wheels wear polished beauty rings, Chevrolet hubcaps, and BFGoodrich white-letter tires said to have been replaced by the seller.
The interior features front buckets and a rear bench clad in black upholstery with color-coordinated interior trim and carpeting. Additions include a replacement dash pad, a Grant GT steering wheel, and a center console fitted between the front seats.
Instrumentation includes a 130-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 78k miles, about 500 of which have been added by the selling dealer; true mileage is unknown. A radio is not installed.
The non-original 350ci V8 features an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, aftermarket valve covers, and exhaust headers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an 8½” 10-bolt rear end. The fuel tank and the exhaust are said to have been replaced by the selling dealer.
