This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe is powered by a 476ci V8 linked with a Richmond six-speed manual transmission, a 12-bolt rear axle, 3.08:1 gears, and Strange axles. The car was refurbished under previous ownership and refinished finished in yellow with black stripes over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes FiTech electronic fuel injection, an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, a Crane roller camshaft, MSD ignition, Hooker headers, front and rear sway bars, traction bars, Wilwood front disc brakes, 15″ Weld wheels, RS-style hideaway headlights, front and rear spoilers, an eight-point roll cage, AutoMeter instrumentation, a Hurst shifter, and a custom sound system. The seller purchased the car on BaT in February 2022 and this Camaro is now offered with refurbishment records and photos, spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The body was refinished under previous ownership in yellow with black stripes and rocker panels. Additional exterior details include RS-style hideaway headlights, a front spoiler, a driver-side mirror, a rear spoiler, chrome bumpers, and SS badging.
Polished 15″ Weld wheels are mounted with 215/65 BFGoodrich Radial T/A front and 275/60 Nitto NT555R rear tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, welded subframe connectors, rear traction bars, and front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by Wilwood front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features an eight-point roll cage as well as front bucket seats and a rear bench that are upholstered in black vinyl. Woodgrain trim accents the center stack and additional equipment includes a Painless wiring harness, a FiTech GO-EFI module, a Hurst T-handle shifter, and a retro-style digital stereo linked to a Kenwood amplifier housed in the trunk.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock. Auxiliary AutoMeter Phantom gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are housed in the center console. The five-digit odometer is inoperative and shows 29k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
