This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS was reportedly purchased new by the seller from Clippinger Chevrolet of Covina, California, and is said to have been refurbished in 1986 by Camaros Unlimited of Richmond, California. The car is finished in Bolero Red over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black vinyl hardtop, Rally Sport headlights and trim, a Delco AM/FM stereo, 14″ Rally wheels, dual side mirrors, and a sport steering wheel. This Camaro is now offered with manufacturer’s literature and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is said to have been refinished in its factory shade of Bolero Red in the 1980s, and it features a black vinyl hardtop and a wraparound front stripe. Exterior details include a retractable antenna, dual side mirrors, SS badging, and chrome bumpers, lower side moldings, window surrounds, and door handles. Fading can be seen on the doors, and paint chips are noted in the gallery below.
Silver-finished 14″ Rally wheels wear chrome-finished hubcaps and trim rings and are wrapped in Firestone Super Sport FR70-14″ redline tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and a space-saving spare wheel and tire are located in the trunk.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with cloth inserts along with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a Delco push-button AM/FM stereo, a heater and defroster, a locking glovebox, lap belts, and manual-crank windows.
The four-spoke sport steering wheel wears an SS-branded horn button and frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. A clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are mounted ahead of the shifter, and the five-digit mechanical odometer shows 24k miles.
The 350ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt during the aforementioned refurbishment and is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and chrome Chevrolet-branded valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission.
