This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 sport coupe was repainted red and fitted with a replacement big-block V8 as part of a refurbishment completed under previous ownership. The engine is equipped with a Summit Racing 750-CFM carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a dual exhaust system with long-tube headers. Gear changes are through a Hurst shifter linked to a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission, and a 12-bolt axle with a Positraction limited-slip differential and traction bars is equipped out back. Inside, black vinyl–trimmed seats are accompanied by a sport steering wheel as well as a center console and a digital media receiver. Further details include a twin-domed hood and 15″ Rally wheels along with power steering and drum brakes. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this SS 396 is now offered with a Washington State title.

The selling dealer notes paint bubbles on the hood, rust near the right-rear wheel opening, and various other paint imperfections around the body.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are said to have been reupholstered in black vinyl, which extends to the dash and door panels. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat.
