This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was acquired by the seller in 2005, and subsequent work consisted of installing a 454ci V8 linked with a TCI Automotive Super StreetFighter TH400 three-speed automatic transmission as well as a Pro Systems 850-cfm carburetor and a replacement alternator, carpeting, bumpers, mirrors, and Positraction differential components. The car is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery, and features include a cowl-induction hood, a black front stripe, a rear spoiler, SS badging, power steering, front disc brakes, Weld Racing 15″ wheels, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an HEI distributor, a Champion aluminum radiator, Dart aluminum cylinder heads, tubular exhaust headers, and a dual exhaust system with muffler bypass plates. This modified Camaro is now offered with a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Mountain Green (H) and is said to have been repainted in red under previous ownership. Details include a cowl-induction hood, a black front stripe, a rear spoiler, SS and 396 Turbo-Jet badging, chrome front and rear bumpers, and dual mirrors. The mirrors and the bumpers reportedly were replaced under current ownership. The seller notes that the left-rear quarter panel was replaced under prior ownership, and the windshield-wiper motor has been removed. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl upholstery complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard pad, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes a center console, a Jensen AM/FM/cassette stereo, lap belts, and Chevrolet-branded rubber floor mats. The seller notes that the window regulators require adjustment and the heater is disconnected.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a replacement 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge as well as a column-mounted Sun tachometer. Three auxiliary gauges are located below the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement Mark IV 454ci V8 was installed under current ownership and is said to feature a Pro Systems 850-cfm carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an HEI distributor, Dart aluminum cylinder heads, roller rocker arms, and tubular exhaust headers. An aluminum radiator with dual Spal electric cooling fans has been installed. Work under current ownership is said to have involved replacing the alternator and the carburetor, and an oil change was performed in early 2023. The seller notes that the left hood hinge requires adjustment and that the cooling fans are wired directly to the battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TCI Automotive Super StreetFighter TH400 three-speed automatic transmission that was fitted under current ownership. A transmission cooler with an electric cooling fan and a dual exhaust system with removable muffler bypass plates and Flowmaster mufflers also have been installed. The rear differential reportedly was rebuilt under current ownership with a Positraction center section and forged axles.
