The 283ci V8 was reportedly re-bored under previous ownership and is said to feature a cut crankshaft, a Crane Fireball camshaft, and cylinder heads with 2.02″ valves. The engine features an Edelbrock carburetor on an aluminum intake manifold as well as Sanderson exhaust headers, a March Performance serpentine belt conversion, finned valve covers, and more. Cooling is via an aluminum radiator with a Derale electric fan, and ancillary items have been relocated from the engine bay walls.
