This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS sport coupe was refurbished under prior ownership, and it was refinished in gold reportedly by Brown’s Metal Mods of Port Leyden, New York. The car is powered by a replacement 383ci stroker V8 that is fitted with a Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, and tubular headers, and it is linked with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle. The cabin is outfitted with replacement black vinyl upholstery, a Hurst shifter, an aftermarket steering wheel, and Classic Instruments gauges, and additional equipment includes 15″ Cragar wheels, lowering springs, power steering, and front disc brakes. This Chevelle Malibu SS was acquired by the selling dealer in late 2023 and is offered with transferable New York registration.

Polished 15″ Cragar wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires that measure 205/60 up front and 235/70 out back. The car rides on a lowered suspension with KYB shocks, and it is equipped with power steering. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in black vinyl, and a center console with a Hurst shifter separates the front bucket seats.
An aftermarket steering wheel sits on a tilting column and frames Classic Instruments gauges. The odometer shows 314 miles, which is said to represent the mileage accumulated since the refurbishment was completed. Total mileage is unknown.
The 383ci stroker V8 is equipped with a Holley carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold and radiator, and tubular exhaust headers. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
